This was my dad’s last fishing trip. He was well into dementia, but we were able to get him to Scott Lake Lodge (the Saskatchewan/NW Territories border) for one last trip. They day after we got home he had a stroke that put him into full on dementia. There is nothing that would make me trade this trip. I’ll forever have these very fond memories.
