Cider making day at the farm

My most memorable adventure with my dad was on a calm early autumn evening. Our family friends own a farm that grows all sorts of crops and the apple trees bore fruit early this year. We went with our friends up to the orchard in a tractor with my dad behind the wheel. We picked apples for hours, me standing in the bucket while my dad drove. Afterwards we combined our efforts to grind and press the apples to make our own cider. It doesn’t seem like anything special but I will always remember that day and the delicious cider we pressed.
