My most memorable adventure was when we drove down from central Jersey to the Chesapeake bay in Delaware to pick up our rescue pup! We’ve had dogs my whole life, but doing it from start to finish with him was a memory I’ll cherish forever. To watch him immediately bond with our new pup and for him to watch me bond with her, was one of our best times together. We tell the story all the time about the car ride home – we stopped at a rest stop for her to do her business, which she did, but a few minutes later she had an accident in the car! Those memories bring so many smiles and laughs! Our dog, Chessie, is both his best friend and mine!
