My daughter (age 5) had just discovered what she then referred to as “bow and arrow” and wanted nothing more than to be an expert archer. So Pop Pop (the consummate outdoorsman and an avid hunter) surprised this kindergartner with her very own bow, arrow, and target when we arrived home (in rural Upstate NY) for July 4th. Daddy and Pop Pop showed her how to use it and even though the bow was as big as she was at the time, she enthusiastically landed a few near the target. She will rival Pop Pop in no time!
