I’ve been lucky enough to have shared years of memorable adventures with my dad. It seems like the most memorable adventure, and the one that I appreciate the most, is fishing with my dad in the evenings after school. We have a lake behind our house and I can remember coming home from school and anxiously waiting for my dad’s car to pull into the driveway as he arrived home from work. I would have our fishing poles ready for my dad, my sister and me to go fishing. My dad would come in the door, change clothes from his work suit to his fishing clothes and meet me in the backyard. We spent almost every evening fishing, talking, and telling each other about our day. I enjoyed spending those evenings with my dad, it’s easily the most memorable adventure with my dad.
