When we had time with my dad growing up, he always wanted to be active- rock climbing, longboarding, kayaking, hiking, surfing, swimming, snowboarding, and on and on. This is a photo of us riding down the Whitewater river in the family kayak in Indiana circa 2005. My sisters, my dad, our yellow lab Sara Jane, and I all managed to fit in the kayak (probably with a cooler for lunch) and take a trip down the river. Memories like these last forever.
