I’ll never forget our 2021 November Archery Rut Hunt. At the end of our first evening hunt together, after not seeing a single deer, we were blessed with the most gorgeous Kansas sunset over the Prairie. As the sun was setting, I turned around and a 13 point Buck was standing at 20 yards. After a few moments of sheer chaos, my father was able settle his pin and make a great shot on his biggest deer to date. The emotional rollercoaster of that evening hunt will always be with me.
