This is one of my favorite photos of my husband and our son. They are standing next to the Owens River, just outside of Mammoth Lakes, California, scoping out their next fishing spot with the Sierra Nevada Mountains rising in the background, where they both love to ski in the winter. This peaceful photo captures two of their most loved activities, and their love of spending time together in the great outdoors.
