My dad and my grandpa took me and my brother bobber fishing when we were very young. I caught my first bluegill when I was four! At the time, we thought we were just fishin’ (like the Trace Adkins song), but this outing and many others sparked a love of the outdoors within me. Now, as a young adult, I relish any time I can spend outdoors, whether it’s biking, kayaking on a lake, hiking in a National Park or elsewhere, or taking my GSP pup for some exercise. My dad has since taken up fly fishing, and it has become his absolute passion. He tries to go out with a guide wherever his travels take him, and he can just lose himself on a lake or stream for the day whenever he has the opportunity. His love of nature and the outdoors has been an inspiration to me!
