This photo was snapped during a two night backpacking trip with my dad in Grayson Highlands State Park. The trip was full of laughs, early morning pour over coffee, wild ponies and most importantly father-daughter bonding. We got lost at one point and ran into a herd of cattle too, which makes for an even more memorable story. This pic really captures my dad in his element – spending time with his kids outside. He is goofy, loving, smart, and always up for an adventure with the fam!
