My dad started taking me with him fly fishing when I was 7. Each time before I was using a Tenkara rod. I remember that morning it was really chilly out but we were bundled up and ready to go! The real memory came when my dad took my Tenkara rod and handed me a real fly rod and reel to use for the first time! This is one on the rainbows o caught that day!
