My dad takes us fishing at Lee’s Ferry on the Colorado and has for most of my adult life. He has always been patient, kind and makes all the days we share an adventure. He teaches, encourages, provides examples and astonishes with the wealth of his experience. He cooks THE BEST burros on the beach, laughs with you when you squeal with delight at catching a fish, points out the wildlife – big horns, ospreys, falcons, and sometimes condors – and let’s you fish with his line when you screw yours up. He is wonderful!
