Since I was a child, my pops always wanted me to fish with him. It wasn’t until I picked up a fly rod well into my adulthood that I finally said yes. After I received a terminal cancer diagnosis, it became really important for us to make memories together. Here pops holds his snook caught in Everglades National Park during a trip out of the Orvis Ocean Reef store in the Florida Keys. Our smiles say it all. While we may only have a few years left to make fly fishing memories together…I will never EVER forget this trip or this moment with my father.
