I was only young but my father towed me out in this rubber ring but to my mothers dismay! I apparently enjoyed it immensely as he was a Royal Navy deep sea diver and I was in capable hands. In Malta where he was deployed having met and married my mother, both young at 21 & 17 yrs of age when they married and I was their first born in 1955. He has since died over 10yrs ago but what a fabulous father he was.
