My dad is 91. We have been fishing together since I was 6 years old. We were out in Lake St. Claire in Michigan. A storm blew up out of nowhere. A boat about 200 yards from us got struck by lightning. It caught fire and the winds were so strong we couldn’t get close to them to help. Fortunately the coast guard was close. My dad kissed the dock when we finally got in. Thank goodness no one was hurt on the boat that got struck by lightning!!
