My dad is the one who introduced me to the great outdoors. I grew up hunting and fishing with him and it has now turned into my passion. This past year has been difficult. I was diagnosed with stage 3 invasive lobular breast cancer in August 2021 and underwent 2 major surgeries, chemo, radiation, and will be having one more surgery this month. My family has been my rock through this chapter in my life and they have been so supportive through this past year helping with everything from projects around the house to being by my side during my bad days after treatments. This photo was taken in my healing time after radiation while spending time with my parents fly fishing from the kayaks on Wilbur Lake in Tennessee. My dad and I were trying to figure out what flies to try next. It was awesome enjoying the beautiful view and sharing my love for trout fishing with my dad. Now we can close this chapter and on to the next which will definitely include more adventures! Happy Fathers Day dad!!!!!!
