Fishing was a part of most family vacations, either in Michigan for trout, pike, and perch or salt water for sheepshead, flounder, and redfish. Looking back, it wasn’t about the amount or size of fish that is most memorable. It was the time spent with my dad (who I’m now realizing probably spent more time supervising and teaching then actually fishing).
