He didn’t have to step up, he chose to! Michael is a retired Marine and I met him when my son was 12. Michael and I started fly fishing 11 years ago. I gave him the gift of Fly-Fishing School with an Orvis vest. He is truly and incredibly my son, Patrick’s, Dad! They now have a raft and a boat and as a family we fish year round. But Michael is more than a fishing buddy, he has taught my son to be a great man, and now a great Father himself. ‘Father’ or ‘Dad’ can me the man that’s there from the beginning, or the man that chooses to step in and be there forever! Michael has made us a family!
