Dad on Safari

My father was such an adventurer. After retiring at 55 – he capitalized on his love of wine and skill as a journalist. He became a wine writer and travelled extensively to vineyards and wineries all over the world…and often took me with him. We went truffle hunting with pigs in Perugia, spit into spittoons throughout France – but when we visited Stellenbosch in South Africa, Dad took an extra week and we had the most memorable time ever safari stay – best outdoor experience ever – to be with the best Dad and see the big five!
