Always happening around an elk hunt! My dad shot a bear on top of this large knoll that had been logged off and the grass was about 4ft high. The bear was still up and moving and we couldn’t get a clear shot. Finally we jumped up on this old stump and could see him in the grass. My dad shot and put him down. Prior to the final shot it was really hairy as we could hear him but not see him.
