The best day on the Deschutes

My dad taught me to fish from a very young age. As I got older he began to teach me how to fly fish just like his dad did for him. Last Father’s Day we took a trip up to the Deschutes. The water levels were low and we left empty handed just like many anglers we ran into. But the day wasn’t wasted because we got to spend the day in nice weather together which was long overdue to the pandemic. A day spent fishing with my dad is the best kind of day.
