Coho Time

My dad has taking me fishing ever since I was a baby to being carried in on hike in trips, to riding in drift and jet boats. He has past over to me his fishing love of water and Nature. We prefer freshwater, with rivers being our passion. From Fall salmon, to Winter steelhead and Spring trout. Swinging large flies for salmon and steelie’s and throwing treats to rainbow, browns and cutthroats. We always fished on our birthday’s, mine end of February and his early March, so steelhead was our main stay. I started spinning, to center pin and then fly fishing and Spey. It’s so fun now being able to apply what I have learned over 28 years of fishing with dad. This picture was from our Fall salmon chase of fresh Coho (silver) and our challenge to catch the largest chrome bullet, as this gets us in the mood for our grind, searching for Winter steel…:)
