Stewart Lewis, on right, ran US Army Airfield at Godman Airfield, Fort Knox, KY. 17 year old Civil Service was Senior Man tasked with B 25 Squadron. Brother Paul Lewis on left, was General Patton’s “Damn Bridge Man”. Tasked with work wiring bridges with explosives starting two weeks after D Day until V-E Day. They really thought this would be last time together. This was the last film exposure on the only roll of film on the street on a Sunday.
