My father has had some major health problems. He was even in ICU for a week with blood clots in his lungs, but that doesn’t stop him. We went on vacation and got him a scooter so he could get around. He didn’t want to miss out on seeing me experience all the adventures we had planned. He is such a good sport and just wants to spend time with me. I’m in graduate school and he calls me regularly to make sure I am doing well and have everything that I need to complete my degree. I admire him for his tenacity, his positive outlook on life, but mostly his unconditional love for me–even when I don’t deserve it sometimes.
