The Perfect Fishing Day
We decided to go fishing and the weather wasn’t cooperating. We sat at the landing as a storm rolled in with lots of lighting. We watched the radar on our phones and waited it out. Once the storm blew over we left the boat ramp on a very cold ride to our fishing spot. As soon as we arrived, the sun peeked out from behind the clouds, it started to warm up enough to shed some layers and get very comfortable. We prepared our gear and started fishing. We instantly started catching fish less than five minutes of our lures hitting the water. We caught a fish on every cast within 3-4 minutes. We caught 34 red drum (spot tail) and continued catching & releasing because it was such a memorable experience. My dad was smiling from ear to ear! I have never experienced anything like this before. We took so many pictures of our catches. We kept our limits and released all the others. We fished until we got tired from reeling them in. It was truly a blessing for myself and my dad. It was a memory that I will remember for the rest of my life!
